Find Survey Monuments Fast — Land Survey Point Database for Crews

PointVault (also written Point Vault) is a field-ready app for land surveyors. Import the job points from your survey files, pull up existing survey monuments by GPS, and optionally share monument data with other survey companies in your area so the next crew on the same property can find what's already been set.

What PointVault does

• Import survey points from CSV / TXT job files, with a column-mapping step so the importer never guesses wrong (Point ID, Northing, Easting, Elevation, Description).
• Find existing monuments on the map — IRs, CIRs, NIDs, PKs, axles, concrete monuments, benchmarks, control points — with GPS-aware proximity search and address-search backed by both OpenStreetMap and the US Census Geocoder.
• Share data across companies. Opt in to a community pool: contribute points and get access to monuments other firms have already recovered in the same area. Tiered access keeps full data behind contribution.
• Field notes & observations on every point. Mark a monument found, suspect, record-only, or destroyed. Add a note that other crews can see.
• Works offline as a PWA. Install to your phone home screen; no app store required. Continues to work in the woods with no signal.
